Ascendent's VRD Series offers the best in vandal resistant housings. Constructed of high impact aluminum, high-quality optical polycarbonate dome enclosures, and integrated 2.8mm - 12mm vari-focal lenses they are the ideal dome for interior or exterior applications. The camera's 3-axis gimbal camera bracket allows for easy positioning and adjustment in ceiling and wall installations. The included surface mounting box provides NPT threaded openings to make surface or recessed conduit installations fast and easy.
The VRD series has integrated OSD programming for the latest imaging technology such as targeted backlight compensation with incremental ratio configuration and Auto White Balance as well as other image enhancing features that overcome the restraints of traditional cameras, allowing installation in the most demanding lighting environments from florescent to low lux. These features in tandem with its high resolution Sony Super HAD chip provide accurate color reproduction for superb detail rich images and true 24/7 indisputable identification.
The VRD Series is ideal for installations in prisons, schools, public transit areas, elevators and hallways.
