The Ascendent AP-550IR boasts a 5-50mm vari-focal lens, Sony's highest SUPER HAD chip, excellent signal to noise ratio, a weatherproof rating of IP67, and a built-in heater blower kit/cooling fan feature to off er the installer an extreme temperature rating of -50º to 50ºC. All these features are integrated into an aluminum housing with thick high impact polycarbonate. This rugged versatile camera is capable of withstanding the harshest climates and the most demanding environments, maintaining extreme IR performance without the extreme price.
